As of May 2025 – Reservation Requirements by Date:

May 24 – 26 (Memorial Day weekend): Reservation required daily
May 27 – June 14: No reservation required
June 15 – August 15: Reservation required daily
August 16 – 29: No reservation required
August 30 – September 1 (Labor Day weekend): Reservation required daily

Important: Even if you’re only driving through the park during restricted hours, a reservation is still required. Visitors arriving before 2:00 p.m. without a reservation should not queue early — vehicles blocking roadways will be cited.

Reservation Details:

Reservations are valid for three consecutive days.
The standard park entrance fee still applies.
Guests with in-park lodging, campground reservations, wilderness permits, or Half Dome permits do not need a separate vehicle reservation.

No Vehicle Reservation Required If Visitors:

Enter before 6:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m.
Arrive via YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) – must book a ticket in advance for the bus to stop at the AutoCamp Yosemite stop
Are part of a commercial tour or paid guided experience
Hold a wilderness or Half Dome permit

Cancellation Policy

Bookings are non-refundable within 14 days of arrival. Any modifications or cancellations are subject to full forfeiture of the initial, full deposit. Cancellations and changes are permitted outside 14 days of arrival without penalty.

Advanced Purchase Rate Cancellation Policy

Bookings made more than two weeks prior to arrival date receive a discount for their advanced purchase. Cancellations or modifications made at any time, including no-shows, will result in a charge for the entire booking amount.

Group Cancellation Policy

Bookings that are cancelled within 30 days of arrival will result in a forfeiture of 100% of estimated room charges plus tax. Cancellations outside of 30 days are permitted free of charge.

You may check in anytime after 4pm local time. Check out is at 10am.

We’re happy to see if your room is available if you arrive early; however, we can’t guarantee an early check-in. Please check with our team when you arrive to see if they are able to accommodate a late check-out.

Staying at AutoCamp Yosemite for the day is a great way to explore all the property has to offer. Our Clubhouse offers classic indoor and outdoor games, books, and plus weekly activities including yoga, live music, and fireside chats. There’s also plenty of nooks to sit and enjoy your favorite book or just some quiet time.

We offer beer and wine by the glass at The Kitchen, as well as hot and cold food items.

Our pool is heated most months of the year with a secluded sun-deck. If you’re looking for more local waters, the Merced River is just a short drive away

We have complimentary mountain bikes that guests can ride around the property, plus a hiking trail that goes around the perimter of AutoCamp Yosemite.

The pool is open from 8am to 10pm daily. There is no lifeguard on duty. The pool is heated and open seasonally from the months of April-October.
