What is the difference between Autocamp Santa Barbara and AutoCamp Russian River?

Our two locations are in very different areas so each property offers a completely unique experience. The AutoCamp Santa Barbara location is in a very beautiful urban city area where you can have restaurants, shops, and the beach within biking distance! The AutoCamp Russian River location is in a stunning woodsy natural environment with restaurants, wineries, and the river also within walking distance to explore.

What is the difference between the Airstream Premium and the Airstream Standard?

The only difference between the Premium and the Standard is location. They both offer the same accommodations and amenities, however, the Premium offers a more private getaway. Premium Airstreams are located on the outskirts of our property and along a creek bed, which provides maximum privacy for our guests.

What are my cooking options for AutoCamp Russian River?

All suites and tents are equipped with their own fire pit with grilling grates for a more traditional over-the-fire type cooking. Also, each Airstream will have a microwave and miniature fridge for cooking and storing food. Guests are also able to bring their own Coleman type outdoor stove.  Additionally, the Airstreams have all dishware and utensils, BBQ tools, a cast iron skillet, French press, and an electric tea kettle.

What are the amenities and what should I bring?

Each Airstream is supplied with: linens, towels, two bath robes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, coffee, tea, sweetener, dishware/utensils, three complimentary wood logs, matches, bottle opener, cork screw, two outdoor reclining chairs, and an outdoor table with four chairs.

Should I bring food?

You are welcome to bring food ahead of time, but there is a grocery store (Safeway) and many restaurants options right around the corner from us!

How many units do you have?

We have twenty-three Airstreams, one ADA cabin (wheel chair accessible), and ten luxury tents (from May until the end of October).

Are there bikes provided?

Yes, we have twelve adult-sized beach cruisers available on a first come first serve basis.

What is there to do in the area?

AutoCamp Russian River is loaded with activities! In your immediate surrounding area, there are places to go such as restaurants, the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and wineries. Also, very close to AutoCamp is the river where you can rent kayaks, canoes, and inner tubes to float and row down the water! If you are keen on exploring and being surrounded by nature, while also being able to go out to eat or drink wine with friends, then AutoCamp Russian River has a lot to offer!

What are my cooking options for AutoCamp Santa Barbara?

All Suites come with a fully operational kitchen including an electric stovetop, cookware, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and an outdoor Electric BBQ

Are there fire pits outside of the Airstreams?

AutoCamp Santa Barbara does not have fire pits nor do we allow fire pits on the property.

Should I bring food?

You are welcome to bring food ahead of time, but there are grocery stores and many restaurants within walking distance!

How many units do you have?

There is a total of five Airstreams. Please check out the “accommodations” tab for the Santa Barbara location to view each one because they are all a little different.

Are there bikes provided?

Yes, each Airstream has two adult-sized beach cruisers provided. There is a small fee for any additional bikes you may need.

What is there to do in the area?

There are many activities to do in the area around AutoCamp Santa Barbara! In your immediate surrounding area, there are many restaurants, a fun bar, and a large park with a jungle gym. Only a mile away is downtown Santa Barbara which provides a 2-mile strip of boutiques, restaurants, and bars. Also, if you head all the way down you will reach the beach and pier where you can rent kayaks or go to a super exciting marine museum! These are just some of the things Santa Barbara has to offer!
