The biggest difference between our properties comes down to their locations. Each location is unique and offers different possibilities for experiences and adventures. However, we aim for our guests to feel as though the AutoCamp experience remains similar.
AutoCamp Russian River is located in a beautiful redwood grove outside the small town of Guerneville, a short stroll from the Russian River. It’s a very natural environment with restaurants, wineries, and the river within walking distance. Our goal is to provide a quiet, tranquil experience for our guests. Oftentimes, winter and spring at AutoCamp Russian River are most romantic and peaceful, offering cozy getaways for couples. Summertime at AutoCamp Russian River brings families traveling with their children, warmer days, and a more lively atmosphere.
AutoCamp Yosemite is our largest and most secluded location, located just 35 minutes outside of iconic Yosemite National Park. It features a two-story Clubhouse, pool (re-opening mid April), and pond, allowing for large group accommodations and endless adventures nearby. Guests of AutoCamp Yosemite can experience unique accommodation types, including our Classic Cabins, Basecamps, and X Suites. Pick up the YARTS Shuttle at the entrance of the property and enjoy a scenic drive into the park without the hassle. Venture into the park during the day and enjoy a meal around the campfire by night.

When arriving at AutoCamp Russian River, you can expect to find beautiful redwoods; a mid-century modern architectural clubhouse featuring both indoor and outdoor fire pits; Airstreams; Luxury Tents; and open grassy areas. We are not located directly on the river, but just across the street, within a short walking distance of the water and downtown Guerneville. Around the property, you’ll also find lawn games, board games, hammocks, and many areas for lounging.
AutoCamp Russian River welcomes guests of all ages. There are limited activities for children at the property and in the local area, but with some planning using our Traveling with Children guide, you can fill a trip easily. We expect all of our young guests to be respectful of their neighbors, the staff, and the surrounding property while staying at AutoCamp Russian River. Summertime trips are often best for families.
No. Burning wood and firewood is prohibited at our properties. However, fire starter kits and charcoal briquettes may be used for campfires and cooking. Fire starter kits are available for purchase in our onsite shop.
The only difference between the Premium and the Classic Airstream Suites is the location. They both offer the same accommodations and amenities, however, the Premium offers a more private getaway. Premium Airstreams are located on the outskirts of our property and along a creek bed, which provides more privacy for our guests.
No, but there is only one parking space provided per unit. We have limited space for parking at our sites – carpooling is appreciated (and helps the planet)!
All Airstream suites and tents are equipped with their own fire pit with grilling grates for a more traditional over-the-campfire cooking experience. Each Airstream also has a microwave and miniature fridge (with small freezer section) for cooking and storing food. Guests can bring their own gas outdoor stove if they desire. There are no stoves inside the Airstreams. Additionally, Airstreams and our X Suite have dishware and utensils, BBQ tools, a cast iron skillet, French press, and an electric tea kettle. Our Luxury Tents and Happier Camper are equipped with dishware and utensils, BBQ tools, and a tea kettle.
You are welcome to bring food with you to cook onsite, plus there’s a grocery store (Safeway) and many restaurants options right around the corner from us. We also have a small shop on site with general food items such as cheese, chips, candy, s’mores supplies, wine, beer, and more available for purchase.
Each Airstream is supplied with: queen-size bed, pull out futon, Bluetooth speakers, flat screen TV, linens, towels, two bathrobes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, coffee, tea, sweetener, dishware/utensils, matches, bottle opener, corkscrew, two outdoor reclining chairs, and an outdoor table with four chairs. Guests are not permitted to pitch a personal tent or canopy on property.
You’ll want to dress in layers and bring sunscreen, comfy walking shoes, your favorite book, and an appetite for all the Russian River has to offer.
Each Luxury Tent is supplied with: queen-size bed, linens, heated blanket, towels, two bathrobes, matches, campfire cookware, kettle, lantern, cooler, and two outdoor chairs around a campfire with grill. Luxury Tent guests have access to bathrooms and showers housed in our Signature Clubhouse. There is electricity and a provided power strip near your headboard. Yes, you will be warm enough! We provide a comforter, a heavy throw blanket, and an electric heated blanket that is sure to keep you cozy all night long.
Our Happier Camper comes equipped with a cozy Tuft & Needle mattress, plush linens, and bathrobes. Happier Camper guests have access to bathrooms and showers housed in our Signature Clubhouse.
All Luxury Tent and Happier Camper guests have access to the ultra-modern bathrooms and showers in the Clubhouse, with spa bath amenities, as well as hair dryers.
You will have WiFi onsite, but cell phone service may be limited, specifically if you have a provider other than Verizon.
Yes, there is WiFi throughout the whole property.
We have twenty-three Airstreams, one Happier Camper unit, and ten luxury tents (available from April 1 until October 31).
Yes, we have quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We are proud to share our experience with the surrounding residents in the neighborhood and ask guests to respect their privacy and use common courtesy.
Yes, well-behaved owners may accompany their dogs for an additional fee of $75.00 per stay, 2 dogs maximum with a 50lb maximum weight each.. Our Luxury Tents, X Suite, and Happier Camper are not dog-friendly.
Yes, we have twelve adult-sized beach cruisers available on a first-come, first-serve basis for use off property.

AutoCamp Russian River is loaded with activities! In your immediate surrounding area, there are places of interests such as restaurants, the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and wineries. Very close to AutoCamp is the Russian River, where you can rent kayaks, canoes, and inner tubes to float and row down the water. If you are keen on exploring and being surrounded by nature, while also being able to go out to eat or drink wine with friends, then AutoCamp Russian River has a lot to offer. It is located minutes from the historic town of Mariposa and a short drive from Yosemite National Park. AutoCamp Yosemite is located about 40 minutes from the Western gates of Yosemite National Park. Our property offers a pick-up station by local Yosemite Shuttles, YARTS. The YARTS shuttle will take approximately one hour to reach the Yosemite Valley floor.

The only difference between Airstream suites is their location. They all offer the same accommodations and amenities, however, the Premium and Vista Suites offer a more private getaway. Our AutoCamp Vista Suites are our most secluded units, offering hilltop views of the property and surrounding mountains.
Our cabins offer a classic outdoor home with a modern twist. They can accommodate up to 5 guests, and include a queen-sized bed, pull out full-sized sofa, and two single bunk beds. There is a kitchenette in each unit with a fridge, stove top, microwave, utensils, tableware, a cast iron plan, and more. Outside of each cabin, you can find a private deck with dining area and fire pit. Enjoy a full bathroom, which includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and luxury bath amenities.
BaseCamp suites provide a great mix of accommodations for larger groups. BaseCamps allow for up to five people to stay in close proximity to each other, with three people staying in an Airstream and two in a Luxury Tent. The Tent and Airstream will share a large private deck with an outdoor dining area, fire pit, and grill.
Yes, AutoCamp Yosemite has accessible accommodations available: our X Suites. Our property features five custom-built accessible suites outfitted with all the same amenities of our AutoCamp Airstreams, plus more! Additionally, all amenities on the property will be accessible.

Each Airstream Suite, Cabin, and X Suite comes with a modern-inspired spa bathroom with walk-in shower and custom vanity sink. Luxury Tents do not have bathrooms inside, but have access to the ultra-modern bathrooms and showers in the Signature Clubhouse. The X Suite has a fully-accessible bathroom.
Each Airstream is outfitted with one queen-size bed and a full-size, pull-out futon. If you believe your two children would be comfortable on this futon, the Airstream can work for you! Families with older, taller children may feel a little cramped. We would recommend a BaseCamp (Airstream and Luxury Tent) for your stay!

The pool is currently undergoing repairs and will re-open to guests as soon as possible. In general, the pool is available all year, although it is not always heated. There is no hot tub or jacuzzi at this time.
Typically, no. AutoCamp Yosemite is at about 3,000 feet; there is occasional snow, but it usually does not stick. It is possible that there could be a large enough storm where chains would be required, but this would be a very rare event. Chains and cables are available for purchase in the nearby town of Mariposa.
