The Essential AutoCamp Russian River Packing List

Preparing for your trip to AutoCamp Russian River? Make sure you bring along these essentials to make the most of your stay.

Summers at AutoCamp Russian River are hot, dry, and perfect for spending the day at the river. Below you’ll find a list of the things you’ll want to bring on your summer adventure.

  • Shorts, t-shirts, sun dresses, tank tops
  • Sun hat or ball cap (or snag one in our shop when you arrive)
  • Sunblock
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Flip flops or sandals
  • A good book to read on a beach towel next to the river or around the campfire
  • Bug spray
  • Sunglasses
  • Bathing suit
  • Adventure backpack or tote to take on hikes or down to the river
  • Tennis shoes for hikes, walks and time around the campfire
  • Optional: blow-up rafts and floaties for those lazy river days

Winters in Guerneville are generally chilly, with crisp, cold mornings and sunny but cool days. You’ll want to bring along some layers if you plan to spend time outside around the property and throughout Sonoma County.

We recommend:

  • Warm jacket for cooler nights
  • Cozy socks
  • Long pants
  • Sweaters and long sleeves
  • Beanie (Need a new one? We’ve got you covered!)
  • Adventure backpack to take on hikes and other activities
  • A deck of playing cards (if you forget, we have some in the Clubhouse)
  • Hiking shoes
  • Tennis shoes
  • Slippers
  • Reusable water bottle

Our Shop in the Clubhouse has a handful of sundries and clothing items to help you feel as comfortable as possible, no matter the season.
