PROPERTY POLICIES

When can I check in for my stay?

Check-in begins at 4pm and check-out is at 11am. 

Where do I check in?

Once you arrive, you will check in at the front desk in the clubhouse. Our front desk team will give you a parking pass, directions and information regarding your accommodation. The front desk is open 24 hours a day.

Can I check in early if I arrive early?

We’re happy to see if your room is available if you arrive early; however, we cannot guarantee an early check in. 

What if I am arriving late at night?

That should not be a problem. We have a front desk associate on property 24 hours a day to help you when you arrive.

Can I check out later than 11am?

Please check with the front desk upon check-in to see if they can accommodate a late check-out for a fee of $75.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Yes! AutoCamp welcomes all well-behaved dogs to accompany their owners for an additional fee of $75.00. There is a 2 dog maximum with a 50lb maximum weight each.

Can I bring a different pet?

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate dogs at our locations.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

What type of room can I stay in at AutoCamp Cape Cod?

There are various accommodation types at AutoCamp Cape Cod, including Airstreams, Luxury Tents (available April 1 to October 31), and X Suites (similar to a tiny home). We also have accessible versions of our Luxury Tents and X Suites.

What comes in each Airstream?

All of our Airstreams feature a private bedroom with a queen-size bed and linens; a kitchenette with basic cooking tools, mini-fridge, microwave and utensils; a galley seating area with modern futon that folds out into a full-size second bed; and a spa-inspired bathroom with Ursa Major bath amenities and a walk-in shower.

BEDROOM: Your Airstream’s bedroom boasts a queen-size memory foam mattress, topped with plush linens and pillows. Bedside lighting makes late-night reading a breeze, while your flat screen TV hosts your favorite shows, which you can enjoy from bed.

KITCHEN: While your Airstream does not have a stovetop or oven, your kitchen comes with an electric kettle, French press, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, bottle opener, cork screw, matches, dishware, and utensils. There’s also a fire pit outside your Airstream for cooking al fresco.

BATHROOM: Each Airstream boasts a full bathroom with walk-in, spa-inspired shower, hairdryer, Ursa Major organic bath products, and plush towels. You’ll even find two cozy bathrobes in your closet.

PATIO: Right outside your door, you’ll have your own private outdoor dining and cooking area, complete with lounge chairs and a fire pit.

HEATING / COOLING: All of our Airstreams come equipped with air conditioning and heat. 

Can I reserve Airstreams next to each other?

We can notate in your reservation that you are requesting accommodations to be next to someone else, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. 

How many people can fit in an Airstream?

All of our Airstreams can accommodate 2 adults, 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults for an additional $25 fee each night.

What is the difference between a Classic and Premium Suites?

Classic Suites are located at the front of the property in individual clusters. These sites are closer together and offer more of a community feel. They’re great for families or friends traveling together. Please let us know if you’d like to be located in the family-oriented section of AutoCamp Cape Cod

Premium Suites, on the other hand, are located at the back of the property and offer more site space and seclusion with a view of our onsite pond. We highly recommend the Premium Airstream if you are looking for a romantic getaway or more quiet time during your stay.

What is the Vista Suite?

Vista Suites are differentiated by their location at AutoCamp Cape Cod. They are the Airstreams with the best views of the surrounding landscape. 

What is the Luxury Tent?

The Luxury Tents are semi-permanent canvas tents on wooden platforms with a king sized bed and a full-sized sofa bed. They are only available during the summer months from April 1st to October 31st. They are located close to the Clubhouse so that tent guests may use the Clubhouse bathrooms and showers.

What comes in each Luxury Tent?

BEDROOM: The Luxury Tents have one king-sized bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, plush linens, and an electric heated blanket. There is also a garment rack, storage bench, full-size mirror, and both bedside and overhead lighting

KITCHEN: There is no kitchen space in our Luxury Tents. However, each Luxury Tent comes equipped with compostable tableware, cutting board, electric kettle, mini fridge, bottle opener, corkscrew, set of matches, grill tools, cast iron skillet and paper towels. 

SEATING AREA: There is also a modern futon, floor lamp, and coffee table in the tent to create a warm living room atmosphere. The futon folds out into a full-sized bed, so the tent can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

BATHROOM: Luxury Tents guests have access to the Clubhouse bathrooms, showers, and bath amenities including hair dryers and Ursa Major shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Each Luxury Tent also comes equipped with two robes for walking to and from the showers.

PETS: Some Luxury Tents are dog friendly. Please let us know during booking if you plan to bring a dog.

Are there bathrooms in the Luxury Tents?

There are no bathrooms in the Luxury Tents. However, you will have access to the Clubhouse bathrooms, showers, and amenities including Ursa Major shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and hair dryers.

What is an X Suite?

X Suites are similar to a tiny home. They have the same set up as our Airstreams with an additional two burner stovetop inside, and an outdoor electric fireplace as well as a fire pit. Some X Suites are fully accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs, with fully accessible features throughout.

BEDROOM: Your X Suite bedroom boasts a queen-size Tempur-Pedic mattress, topped with plush linens and pillows and bedside lighting to make late-night reading a breeze.

KITCHEN: Along with a two burner stovetop, your kitchen comes with an electric kettle, french press, microwave, mini refrigerator, bottle opener, cork screw, matches, dishware, and utensils. There’s also a fire pit outside your X Suite for cooking al fresco.

SEATING AREA: In the seating area there is a modern futon that can fold out into a full-sized bed and a flat screen tv to watch all of your favorite shows.

BATHROOM: Each X Suite has a full bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, Ursa Major organic bath products, and warm towels. You’ll even find two cozy bathrobes in your closet. Our Accessible X Suites have fully accessible bathrooms.

PATIO: Right outside your door, you’ll have your own private outdoor area, complete with chairs and a fire pit.

HEATING / COOLING: All of our X Suites come equipped with air conditioning and heat.

Where is AutoCamp Cape Cod located?

AutoCamp Yosemite is located in the town of Falmouth, just 5 minutes from historic Woods Hole. From Boston, AutoCamp Cape Cod is about a 1.5 hour drive, and about a 3.5 hour drive from New York City.

What is there to do near AutoCamp Cape Cod?

Depending on what you are interested in, there are many activities to do both in the town of Falmouth, the surrounding Cape, and just a ferry’s ride away in Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

What is there to do on property at AutoCamp Cape Cod? 

There is plenty to do on property and in the clubhouse. 

CLUBHOUSE: You can also cozy up in the clubhouse by the indoor fire and read or play board games. We have complimentary bikes that guests can ride around the property, or take on the adjacent Shining Sea Bikeway. 

ACTIVITIES: We offer weekly activities onsite, including yoga classes, live music, s’mores bars, wine tastings with local wineries, and more. 

How do I get to other areas on the Cape?

AutoCamp Cape Cod is within driving distance to most Cape Cod attractions. We are also a short drive away from the Woods Hole Ferry terminal, which provides direct access to the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

What is there to do if it’s raining or snowing?

In the event of inclement weather at AutoCamp Cape Cod, there are still plenty of things to do, including getting cozy in the clubhouse where there is hot coffee/tea, an indoor fireplace, and board games to play.

Is there WiFi on property?

We offer Wifi throughout the property making it easy to connect with close friends and family to share your adventure. 

Do you provide daily housekeeping?

We do not have a daily turn over housekeeping service. If you would like a full cleaning service, you can request that through the front desk for an additional cost of $50 for Airstream or Tent, or $75 for an X Suite. Additional blankets, towels, or anything else you might need is available upon request.

Is there parking or a valet onsite?

Each accommodation comes with one parking spot. We do not have valet parking. We have electric charging stations onsite for guest use.

What is in the Clubhouse?

The Clubhouse at AutoCamp Cape Cod has a shop, front desk reception, and an indoor fire pit lounge. It provides both a quiet space for relaxing and a community feeling for warm gatherings. In the shop, you can purchase local beer & wine, snacks, travel essentials, and apparel. The front desk is available for any questions or concerns while you’re onsite and can also help in adventure planning for a wide range of activities.

Does AutoCamp Cape Cod close in the winter?

We welcome you to AutoCamp rain, snow, or shine year-round! The only difference in the wintertime season at AutoCamp Cape Cod is that the Luxury Tents will not be available to stay in, and some Airstreams will be unavailable. The rest of our accommodations come equipped with heat so they will stay plenty warm. 

FOOD AT AUTOCAMP CAPE COD:

Do you have a restaurant onsite?

There is no restaurant onsite but we make it easier to cook your food fireside by offering various amenities in your accommodation for you to use. There is also a complimentary continental breakfast in the clubhouse every morning with locally baked pastries, fresh fruit, and yogurt. There is also fresh-squeezed OJ, coffee, and tea. We also have chef-curated BBQ kits available for sale, as well as local beer, wine, and ready-to-cook food options.

Can we build a campfire?

Yes! Each room comes with an outdoor fire pit and grill for your use. Bags of GoodWood, additional fire starter kits, and charcoal can be purchased in our onsite shop. Please note that burning trash and firewood is strictly prohibited at all AutoCamp properties. There are fire extinguishers located in every accommodation.

How do I cook for myself?

Each accommodation has a private fire pit where you can cook your food fireside using GoodWood or charcoal. Our shop in the clubhouse is stocked with everything you need to create a fireside feast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also pre-order a four course BBQ kit for you to cook over the fire. Your accommodation will have basic cookware, dishes, and utensils.

Is there a bar on property?

No, but we have beer, wine and spirits for sale in the clubhouse. There are also several bars in the town of Falmouth.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Due to Massachusetts state law,  no alcoholic beverages can be brought onto our property.  Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase in our retail market located in the Clubhouse. You may consume alcoholic beverages either in the clubhouse, your room, tent or designated areas on property. Please refrain from bringing any alcoholic beverage onto our property.

How do I cook with the expected bad weather?

If inclement weather is expected, we suggest you utilize the microwave in your suite to warm up food. If you are staying in a Tent, there are microwaves in the Clubhouse that you can use. There are also induction burners and pots available from the Clubhouse upon request. Please note we do not allow canopies to be used to cover the outdoor fire pit at each site.

FAMILY FRIENDLY:

Is AutoCamp Cape Cod family-friendly?

AutoCamp is the perfect place to experience the outdoors with your family. All ages are welcome, including newborns and great-great-grandparents.

Can my family fit in an Airstream?

All of our Airstreams come with a queen-size mattress in the bedroom and a fold-out futon in the galley. With these two sleeping areas, an Airstream can accommodate three adults, or two adults and two small children. 

Do you have a crib I can borrow for my baby?

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer pack-n-plays or cribs, but you could bring your own. There is enough room in the galley in the Airstream to fit one if the futon is not extended.

What is the best accommodation for my family?

If you have two small children that would be comfortable sharing a bed, we would recommend staying in the Airstream. The fold out futon in the galley is a great second bed for children. If you would like slightly more space, the X Suite is a great option. 

ACCESSIBILITY:

Is it a far walk from the parking lot to my room?

It is only a short walk from the parking lot to the accommodations. There are also wagons to help you transport your luggage.

Is the property ADA Accessible?

Yes, there are ramps to enter and exit the clubhouse and there is a wheelchair accessible lift to get to the second floor of the clubhouse. Some of our X Suites and Luxury Tents can accommodate wheelchairs and have fully accessible features.

I’m celebrating a special occasion. Can you help me set something up in the room ahead of time?

We love that you want to celebrate your special occasion at AutoCamp! We are happy to help you by placing items in the room ahead of time; just let us know what you’d like.

TRANSPORTATION:

What is the nearest airport to AutoCamp Cape Cod?

The closest airports would be the Boston Logan Airport which is X miles away. From the airport we would advise you to rent a car as we do not have airport transportation. There are some taxis, Ubers, or Lyfts in the Cape Cod area.
